Bahrain Defense Update: 154 Missiles Intercepted to Date 26 March 2026

The National Communication Centre has provided an update on the ongoing monitoring of hostile Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain. Military and security authorities continue to operate at a high level of readiness within a comprehensive, 24-hour defense system to ensure the safety of all citizens and residents.

Military and Defense Updates The Bahrain Defense Force reported the successful interception and destruction of one missile and 19 drones in the latest operational period. Since the beginning of these hostile actions, the total number of intercepted threats has reached 154 missiles and 350 drones.

Civil Defense and Public Safety The Ministry of Interior continues its efforts to safeguard national security. Over the past two days, civil defense teams have responded to several reports of debris falling on residential homes, vehicles, a factory, and a university.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense emphasizes the following safety guidelines if you encounter missile or drone debris:

• Keep Distance: Stay away from any debris as it may contain dangerous materials.
• Report Immediately: Inform the relevant authorities by calling the emergency hotline 999.
• Secure the Area: Keep others away from the site to ensure collective safety.
• No Social Media: Refrain from photographing debris or sharing images on social media platforms.

Maritime Restrictions The maritime ban in the northern area remains in force from 6:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. Seafarers are required to comply with these regulations to avoid legal liability.
