The National Communication Center (NCC) has issued a comprehensive media briefing to inform citizens and residents of the latest developments regarding the Kingdom’s response to hostile Iranian attacks. Officials confirmed that Bahrain’s military and security forces continue to operate with maximum efficiency, successfully neutralizing hundreds of incoming threats to national sovereignty.

Integrated Defense System Neutralizes Major Threats

In a show of high-level readiness, the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) air defense systems have successfully countered a massive wave of aerial aggression. Since the onset of the hostile actions, the Kingdom’s integrated defense network has intercepted and destroyed:

  • 153 Ballistic Missiles
  • 301 Drones

The National Communication Center expressed immense pride in the vigilance demonstrated by the personnel of the BDF, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Interior. Their sustained operational effectiveness ensures that Bahrain’s skies, territorial waters, and land remain secure against ongoing terrorist targeting.

Casualties and International Cooperation

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced with profound sorrow the death of a Moroccan national. The deceased was serving as a civilian contractor with the UAE armed forces and was killed while performing his duties alongside BDF personnel during a missile and drone defense operation.

The General Command extended its deepest condolences to the UAE armed forces and the family of the deceased. Additionally, it was confirmed that several members of both the Bahrain Defense Force and the UAE armed forces sustained injuries while repelling the aggression. Most cases have been assessed as minor to moderate, and the majority of the injured have already been discharged from medical care.

Public Safety Guidelines and Civil Protection

Captain Abdulrahman Mansouri from the Ministry of Interior emphasized that all security sectors remain on round-the-clock standby to address emergencies while simultaneously maintaining routine public services.

To enhance public safety during the current situation, the Ministry has urged citizens and residents to adhere to specific safety instructions, particularly in the event of power outages:

  • Remain Calm and Stay Home: Residents should stay indoors and only leave when absolutely necessary.
  • Safe Lighting: Use battery-powered torches rather than open flames.
  • Ventilation Warning: Never use power generators indoors or in enclosed spaces due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Combatting Misinformation

A significant portion of the briefing was dedicated to national security on the digital front. The General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has urged the public to obtain information exclusively from official and authorized sources.

Authorities warned against the circulation of rumors, unverified videos, or the rapid reposting of news, noting that exercising accuracy is a shared responsibility in safeguarding the Kingdom’s stability.

The briefing concluded with a prayer for the protection of the Kingdom of Bahrain, its leadership, and its people.
