National Briefing: Update on Bahrain’s Response to Regional Developments – 15 March 2026 News Desk
“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” – W.B. Yeats
On a memorable evening in the warm month of May, Live FM 107.2 illuminated the achievements of Bahrain’s brightest young minds, hosting a special felicitation ceremony for high achievers in the CBSE Grade 10 and 12 examinations. Held at the Capital School Campus auditorium in association with Capital University, on Friday, May 30, the event was more than just an awards night—it was a testament to the power of dedication, intellect, and community support.
One by one, students stepped forward to receive medals and certificates, from prominent educators in the country alongside Pady Naidu, the General Manager of Capital University and Rakesh Ramesh, RJ Juhi and Sumesh John Joy, the directors of Live FM, as their accomplishments shone as brightly as the stage lights. Each handshake, each word of praise, carried the weight of years of hard work and the promise of futures yet to unfold. Schools, too, were recognized, with principals and representatives accepting mementoes—a nod to the institutions that nurture these young talents.
It was a happy moment to host Monika Sethi, Head Teacher of CBSE section at the Al Noor International School, Lovy Joseph, the Director, Molly Mammen, the Principal and Antony Jude, the Vice Principal of the Asian School Bahrain, Mohammad Shaheed Khan, the Head Teacher at the Ibn Al Hytham Islamic School, Sreesadan OP, a senior Post Graduate Teacher representing the Indian School Bahrain, Meenakshi Mathur, the Head of Social Science Department and Reema Roy, the Head of English at the New Millennium School and Gopinath Menon, the Principal of The New Indian School.
For Live FM 107.2, this initiative was not merely an event but an embodiment of its vision. As a voice of the community, the station believes in amplifying not just music and conversation, but also the stories of those who inspire. Celebrating academic excellence aligns with its commitment to social responsibility—recognizing that true progress begins with empowering the next generation.
The evening was a quiet yet powerful reminder that merit deserves celebration. In a world often distracted by fleeting trends, Live FM 107.2 and Capital University chose to pause and honour what truly matters: the relentless pursuit of knowledge.
Because some frequencies don’t just play music—they echo success.
